High Potential’ Season 2 Finale Attracts More Than 12 Million Viewers

ABC's "High Potential" ended its second season and once again lived up to its name. The season 2 finale, which aired on April 7, attracted 12.69 million total viewers according to Nielsen live+7 multiplatform numbers.

That's just a little lower than the show's season 1 finale in February 2025, which had 12.79 million viewers, but it was higher than the season 2 premiere in September, which had 11.99 million viewers.
The season 2 premiere was ABC's best drama start since 2020, when "Grey's Anatomy" premiered.

The season 2 finale set a six-week high for the show, marking its best numbers since February.
The multiplatform number was up 137% compared to the show's live+same day average of 5.36 million viewers. Including multiplatform L+7 numbers, the finale averaged a 2.04 rating with adults aged 18-49, which is up 716% from the 0.25 rating in live+same day.

Looking at linear viewership only, the season finale reached 8.71 million total viewers and a 0.61 rating with adults 18-49.
This was also a six-week high in those metrics.

ABC reported that multiplatform ratings have "High Potential" tied with CBS's new show "Marshals" as the No. 1 broadcast show in the 18-49 adult demographic with a 2.27 rating.

Kaitlin Olson stars as Morgan, a single mom who discovers her ability to solve crimes and partners with a detective played by Daniel Sunjata.
Other cast members include Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb, Steve Howey, and Judy Reyes. The show is produced by 20th TV, based on the French series "Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI)" and created in the U.S. by Drew Goddard. Goddard and Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles, showrunner Todd Harthan, Marc Halsey, and Kaitlin Olson are executive producers.
