"Disclosure Day" is coming soon. The new Steven Spielberg movie is still a big mystery, but a new trailer has been released. You can watch the clip featuring Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth, and Colman Domingo below.
The official description says: "If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?
This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to... Disclosure Day."
It looks like Blunt's character could be an alien, and the little girl seen talking to animals might not be from Earth either.
Honestly, even after watching the trailer, it's still not completely clear what "Disclosure Day" is about. And that's okay.
Spielberg directed the film based on a story he created with a script written by David Koepp, who has worked with Spielberg on movies like "Jurassic Park," "The Lost World: Jurassic Park," "War of the Worlds," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
"Disclosure Day" is produced by Kristie Macosko Krieger and Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment.
The executive producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.
Spielberg's last movie was "The Fabelmans" in 2022, but it seems like he's returning to themes similar to his earlier films like "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
"Disclosure Day" is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2026.
