On Sunday, during the first quarter of the big football game, a sneak peek for the new Netflix film, *The Adventures of Cliff Booth*, came up in a commercial break.
The clip was about a minute long and showed Brad Pitt returning to his role as Cliff Booth, the stuntman and stand-in for TV star Rick Dalton from Tarantino's 2019 movie. In the clip, his character says, "I don't have many talents, but I know better than to get in the way of a good story."
Although most of the story isn't revealed yet, it's expected to focus on Cliff Booth and take place in a later time than *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood*.
That movie won Brad Pitt his first Academy Award for supporting acting.
Other actors joining the cast include Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Timothy Olyphant, Scott Caan, Holt McCallany, and Peter Weller.
A specific release date hasn't been announced, but the Super Bowl trailer says "Coming Soon."
Even though Tarantino wrote the script for this follow-up, he didn't want to direct it because he wanted his 10th and final film to be something new.
He said on *The Church of Tarantino* podcast in August 2025, "I love this script, but I'm still walking down the same ground I've already walked. It just kind of unenthused me. This last movie, I've got to not know what I'm doing again. I've got to be in uncharted territory."
On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots were playing at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, for Super Bowl LX to see which team would win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
