When streaming and delayed viewing are taken into account, CBS' fall premiere of the series "Matlock" drew nearly 16 million viewers.
According to estimates from CBS Research and VideoAmp, as well as CBS' own internal streaming data (CBS and Nielsen are currently involved in an ongoing contract dispute), the first episode of the new series, "Matlock," aired on Sept. 22 and attracted 15.8 million viewers across both linear and streaming platforms within its first 30 days.
The first episode of the show starring Kathy Bates drew 22.8 million viewers across multiple platforms when taking into account the two additional airings of the series premiere of "Matlock."
The series premiere of the Montana Jordan and Emily Osment-led "Young Sheldon" spinoff series "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage" on CBS during its October premiere week attracted 10.6 million viewers across multiple platforms in its first seven days.
