The information was made public in a Marvel sizzle reel that was made public on Wednesday and showed its TV schedule for next year, which included the live-action series "Daredevil: Wonder Man, Born Again, Ironheart, and the animated series "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man," "Eyes of Wakanda," and "Marvel Zombies"
The superhero film starring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds is the second highest grossing film of 2024, bringing in a whopping $1.3 billion worldwide. It recently became the 12th highest-grossing North American release in history, surpassing "Barbie" ($636.2 million). In addition, it is the highest-grossing R-rated film ever. Directed by Shawn Levy ("Free Guy," "Night at the Museum," "Deadpool"), the movie follows Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, played by Reynolds, whose tranquil existence is disrupted when the Time Variance Authority enters his life. In order to protect his world from a multiverse threat, he quickly forms enemies with Wolverine (Jackman). The comic book characters that were previously licensed to 20th Century Fox, which was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2019, serve as the main characters in this film, making it the first entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film is loaded with appearances in abundance, with everybody from Chris Evans, who gets back to the Wonder Artistic Universe to play Johnny Tempest, also known as the Human Light, from his first superhuman job in Fox's "Phenomenal Four." Elektra (played by Jennifer Garner), Blade (played by Wesley Snipes), X-23 (played by Dafne Keen), and Gambit (played by Channing Tatum), who was long rumored to be a stand-alone character but never made an appearance in any of Fox's "X-Men" films, are joining him.
Other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters appear as well, such as Happy Hogan, the Hulk, and Wunmi Mosaku's Hunter B-15 from "Loki." Then there are all of the Wolverine and Deadpool clones: Cavillrine, a cameo by Henry Cavill; Blake Lively, the wife of Reynolds, plays Ladypool. Nathan Fillion plays Headpool, a headless, floating character, and Matthew McConaughey plays Cowboy Deadpool for a brief time.
