Samara Weaving to Play Emma Frost in Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ Reboot

Samara Weaving is leaving the movie "Ready or Not" to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.She has been cast in Marvel's new version of "The X-Men." Weaving will play Emma Frost, a character who started as a villain in the comics but later became a superhero.She has the power of telepathy, which means she can read minds and communicate with others using her thoughts.

The casting news comes after Marvel held a big event at Comic-Con last weekend, introducing Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider and revealing that actor David Jonsson will take over as the king of Wakanda in "Black Panther 3." Even though Marvel has been very successful in movies, it has faced some problems at the box office with recent films such as "Captain America: Brave New World" and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps."
