Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey's son, Josey Dorsey, is about to appear in his first major movie.He has been cast in Evan Coury's film called *The Burning Valley*, as listed on IMDB.com.Ryan Dorsey is also in the movie, so the father and son might appear together in the film, which is Josey's acting debut.
Evan Coury explained that the movie is about a steelworker who loses his job after the plant shuts down.
This leads him to travel around his hometown in the Rust Belt area.
This film is also Coury's first time as a director.
He has worked as an actor before, including in a 2015 short film called *Adopted* and a 2022 movie called *Dear Zoe*, which stars Sadie Sink.
Filming for *The Burning Valley* started in August in places around Pennsylvania, where Coury grew up, like Brackenridge and Arnold.
He said his goal is to show the history of his region through the story of one man's experience.
Other actors in the movie include Tyler Miles, J.B.
Brown, Joseph Ducar, Whip Hubley, Patrick Jordan, Sam Lothard, Joseph Mazza, and Sheila McKenna.
The Hollywood Reporter has tried to contact Josey's representative for more details.
According to KTVB, Josey was in a local play called *Seussical Jr.* in West Virginia in 2024 when he was 8 years old.
People reported that Josey and his dad moved from Los Angeles to West Virginia in 2023.
Ryan Dorsey has appeared in TV shows like *Yellowstone*, *Ray Donovan*, *Justified*, and *Palm Royale*.
Josey's mother, Naya Rivera, was known for her role in *Glee*.
She passed away in a drowning accident in 2020 while on a boat trip with Josey, who was 4 at the time, in Lake Piru, California.
Naya and Ryan married in 2014 and were together for two years before they divorced.
