The nominations for the 2025 BAFTA Games Awards were announced in London on Thursday, featuring 42 games across 17 categories, selected by over 1,700 BAFTA members. Established in 2004, the awards honor "creative excellence in video games and the people who make them."
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads with 12 nominations, followed by Dispatch with nine, Ghost of Yōtei with eight, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach with seven, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with six.
Aaron Paul, Charlie Cox, and Jeffrey Wright are among the first-time performance nominees.
Awards Season: The Whiffs, the Wins and the Wet Blankets
A total of 255 games were considered by BAFTA members this year, released between November 16, 2024, and November 14, 2025.
BAFTA had revealed the longlists in December.
Tara Saunders, chair of BAFTA's Games committee, said: "This year’s nominations reflect an industry reshaping itself—with a vibrant mix of established studios standing alongside a wide range of independent studios and a number of development teams earning nominations for the first time.

The winners will be announced at the BAFTA Games Awards on April 17.
