"Bring Her Back" won ten of its sixteen nominations, including Best Film, Best Direction, and Best Lead Actress in Film for Sally Hawkins.
The miniseries "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" came in second with nine AACTA Awards, including Best Lead Actor for Elordi.
The drama series "The Newsreader" continued its winning streak with four wins. Netflix's "Apple Cider Vinegar" won the Best Miniseries award.
Homegrown stars Robbie, Elordi, and Robert Irwin received the AACTA Audience Choice Award for Favorite Australian Actress, Favorite Australian Actor, and Favorite Media Personality.
Snook was given the 2026 AACTA Trailblazer Award for her significant contributions to the screen industry.
In addition to Snook, the Academy honored other individuals.
Bruce Beresford got the AACTA Longford Lyell Award. Kristina Ceyton and Samantha Jennings received the AACTA Byron Kennedy Award. Kate Armon and Craig Smith were awarded the AACTA Reg Grundy Award, while Clare Hughes won the AACTA Brian Walsh Award.
The pop-culture podcast "Shameless" won the first-ever Audience Choice Award for Best Podcast.
"Stranger Things (Season 5)" won Favorite TV Show, and "Wicked: For Good" took the Favorite Film award.
The 2026 AACTA Awards Ceremony, presented by the Foxtel Group, took place on February 6 and was broadcast at 7:30 p.m. AEDT.
An extended version of the ceremony will be available on Binge and Foxtel on February 7, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The 2026 AACTA Awards are part of the AACTA Festival, happening from February 4 to 8, celebrating film, television, and pop culture.
