Eydelshteyn will join the Prime Video series as Mr. Smith. However, time will tell if he will actually take on the title role, as Mr. Smith was prominently featured in the first season due to the secretive nature of the secret agent.
Additionally, co-creators Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane will return as executive producers. However, it remains to be seen whether Glover and Maya Erskine, who starred in season one, will reprise their roles after the cliffhanger of the season finale.

"The success of season one, with its incredibly modern and sexy reinterpretation of the original film, is a testament to the talented creators in Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane. We're proud to bring you another season full of unforgettable journeys and new adventures."
Edelshtein made her American debut in the Palme d'Or-winning film Anora after appearing in Russian films like Sasha's Country and One Hundred Years Away and TV shows like The Convent.
Deadline was the first to report the news. Mr. & Mrs. Smith is streaming on Prime Video. Anora is in select cinemas now.
