David Tennant to Return as BAFTA Film Awards Host

In a BAFTA double, David Tennant will host the British Academy's upcoming film awards once more.

The "Doctor Who" and "Good Omens" star, who most recently starred in the popular Disney+ series "Rivals," will host the 78th BAFTAs on February 16, 2025, at London's Royal Festival Hall. She previously hosted the 77th awards earlier this year.

BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip stated, "We are thrilled that David Tennant will be hosting the EE BAFTA film awards again in 2025." "His performance this year was simply outstanding—warm, witty, whip-smart, and with a delightful touch of mischief." He is a true pleasure to work with.

It is an honor to acknowledge the extraordinary inventiveness of those who drive the British and international film industries and to share Britain's largest film festival with TV viewers around the world.

The Spotify premiere date for "Batman Unburied: Fallen City," which stars Colman Domingo as the Dark Knight, has been set.
The BBC in the U.K. and Britbox in the U.S. and Australia will broadcast the BAFTA ceremony, which was previously watched by over 3.8 million people. Other international networks have not yet been announced.
