Tyler Perry’s ‘Beauty in Black’ Rises Atop Netflix Top TV List With 8.7 Million Views

The popularity of Tyler Perry's "Beauty in Black" series is growing, as it became the most-watched TV show of the week on Netflix.

"Beauty in Black" saw a notable increase in viewership in its second week, recording 8.7 million views during the week of October 28, after debuting as the fourth most-watched Netflix TV series with 5.6 million views from its October 24 premiere through October 27.

"Beauty in Black" garnered more views than both "Territory," which came in at number two on the TV list with 6.3 million, and the Season 2 premiere of "The Diplomat," which received 5.6 million views over the four days between its October 31 premiere and November 3. Similarly, "This Is the Zodiac Speaking" received a negative rating.
