Deadpool & Wolverine’ Continues Box Office Domination With $96 Million Second Weekend

According to industry estimates, Marvel Studios' "Deadpool & Wolverine" is expected to continue its unprecedented run at the box office. The film is expected to earn $96 million this weekend, placing it among the top 10 highest second weekends of all time.

With the exception of "Inside Out 2," this result means that it will surpass "The Passion of the Christ," directed by Mel Gibson in 2003, to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in North America prior to inflation adjustment. It likewise required only two ends of the week to pass the homegrown runs of the two past "Deadpool" films, as it is well on course to clean $500 million off of North American earns alone.
