Owen Harris has directed episodes of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
He has also worked on other TV shows like Mrs.Davis and Black Mirror.Beau Willimon created the show House of Cards and wrote for the Star Wars series Andor.
In 2015, Martin talked about why he had said no to chances to make a Game of Thrones movie before. He didn't want to have to take out big parts of his books. He also worried that the movie would mainly focus on characters like Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen.
He said, "I didn't need the money, so I had the power to say the sexiest word in Hollywood: 'no,'” he told The South Bank Show at the time.
