"Heated Rivalry" Adds 5 to Season 2 | Meet the Newest Members of the Cast

L"The Heated Rivalry," the big hit from 2025, is bringing five new cast members for its second season.

These new actors include Emily Hampshire from "Schitt's Creek" and Edvin Ryding from "The Young Royals." They'll join the returning stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.

Here’s who the new additions are and where you might have seen them before:  

Emily Hampshire  

Fans of "Schitt's Creek" will recognize Hampshire as the funny Stevie Budd.

But did you know she also played a character based on Brad Pitt's role from "12 Monkeys" in the Syfy series of the same name?We don’t know yet what role she’ll play in "Heated Rivalry," but we’ll hear her deadpan voice again later this year in Marvel’s "VisionQuest" as the voice of E.D.I.T.H.(Tony Stark's AI security system).

Edvin Ryding  

The young Swedish actor is best known for playing Prince Wilhelm in the Netflix teen drama "The Young Royals." Horror fans might remember him as the Swedish soldier in "28 Years Later." You’ll see Ryding in a big-screen role this November as Vitus, part of Hamich Abernathy’s prep team in "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping."  

Robert Naylor  

Canadian actor and musician Robert Naylor is known for his work in many Canadian films and TV shows.

He also played a younger version of Henry Cavill’s Theseus in the 2011 movie "Immortals."  

Sabrina Jalees  

Comedian Sabrina Jalees has written for some popular shows like "Search Party," "Harley Quinn," and "Powerless."  

Priyanka  

Priyanka is best known as the first winner of "Canada's Drag Race." She has appeared in several "RuPaul's Drag Race" specials and won two Canadian Screen Awards for "Drag Brunch Saved My Life."  

Justice Smith (previously announced)  

You might recognize Smith from his wide range of roles, including "Pokémon: Detective Pikachu," "I Saw the TV Glow," "The Get Down," and "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t." Smith will be introduced in "Heated Rivalry" as Harris Drover, the social media manager for the Ottawa Centaurs, and is the main character in the fifth book of the original "Game Changers" series by Rachel Reid.

Charlie Gillespie (previously announced)  

Since his breakout role in the Netflix series "Julie and the Phantoms," Charlie Gillespie has appeared in movies like "Totally Killer," "Splitsville," and "One Night Only" (which is in theaters now).

Gillespie will play Centaurs forward Troy Barrett in Season 2.
