Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott have become new parents.They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in late July, as reported by TMZ.The news came after photos were shared of Plaza holding a baby in New York following a performance of Death of a Salesman, which was Abbott's final stage role.
In the production, Abbott played Biff Loman in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's classic play, alongside Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf. This role earned him his first Tony Award nomination, and he and Plaza attended the ceremony together.
Plaza, on the other hand, was nominated for an Emmy Award for best supporting actress in a drama series for her role in The White Lotus in 2023.
She also co-created the animated series Kevin for Prime Video.Her other notable roles include Agatha All Along and Parks and Recreation.
The couple announced their pregnancy in April. They have previously worked together on the 2020 movie Black Bear and the off-Broadway play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
Plaza was previously married to writer and director Jeff Baena, known for Life After Beth. He passed away by suicide in January 2025.
