Law and Order’ to Be Renewed for Season 26 at NBC

"Law and Order" is expected to return for Season 26 on NBC, according to information shared by Variety. This news will surely bring happiness to fans, as the show was in a tough spot before NBCUniversal announced its plans to advertisers. Final details are still being worked out, but the Wolf Entertainment show has been confirmed to be part of the 2026-2027 broadcast season. The show had originally run for 20 seasons on NBC before it was unexpectedly canceled in 2010, but it came back in 2022.

"Law and Order" has had a wide variety of actors over the years.
 Some of the famous names who have been part of the show include Jerry Orbach, S. Epatha Merkerson, Sam Waterston, Benjamin Bratt, Angie Harmon, Michael Imperioli, Dennis Farina, Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson, and Jeffrey Donovan.

Now, the main cast includes Hugh Dancy, Tony Goldwyn, Odelya Halevi, David Ajala, Reid Scott, and Maura Tierney.
 Dick Wolf is the creator and executive producer of the show. Other executive producers are Rick Eid, Alex Hall, and Peter Jankowski. The series is produced by Universal Television along with Wolf Entertainment.

NBCUniversal will present its plan to advertisers on May 11 in New York.
 NBC has already decided on its lineup of scripted shows, which includes comedies like "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins," "Happy's Place," and "St. Denis Medical," as well as dramas such as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Chicago Med," "Chicago Fire," and "Chicago P.D." The network also decided to cancel the medical drama "Brilliant Minds" and the comedy "Stumble."
