"CoComelon: The Movie" has announced its voice cast, with SZA, Nicholas Hoult, and Sarah Sherman joining as new characters in the movie, which is a theatrical version of the popular children's series. Other new voices in the movie include Ike Barinholtz, Ego Nwodim, Josh Johnson, Matt Friend, Rhys Darby, and Cristo Fernández. They will be working with actors from the TV show, like Connor Esterson as JJ, Camden Brooks as Cody, Olivia London Leyva as Nina, and Aerina DeBoer as CeCe.

The movie is planned to come out in theaters on February 19, 2027.
Details about the story haven't been shared yet, but a press release says it's an "epic adventure" that takes families beyond the world of "CoComelon," following JJ, his friends, and new characters on a movie journey with original music and good storytelling.

"CoComelon" started on YouTube and became a big hit around the world, spreading into products, music, games, and live shows.
It gained even more popularity on Netflix, where it attracted many young fans and inspired other shows like "CoComelon Lane," "CoComelon Classroom," "Cody Time," "Nina’s Familia," and "JJ’s Animal Time." The show will move to Disney+ in 2027 after Netflix decided not to renew its deal.

"CoComelon: The Movie" is being made by Universal Pictures and produced by Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media, Prime Focus Studios, DreamWorks Animation, and animated by the DNEG Group.
Kat Good, who worked on "Kung Fu Panda," is directing the film. Justin Tranter, who has worked with artists like Chappell Roan, Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez, is the executive music producer.
