Netflix Drops "Stranger Things" Season 5 Trailer

Netflix has released the trailer for "Stranger Things" Season 5. The show is getting ready to wrap up its long run with a three-part final season. The first trailer shows the town of Hawkins, which is now under quarantine, dealing with military forces, battles with demogorgons, and a new scary threat as Vecna targets Will Byers again. The trailer also hints at the introduction of Linda Hamilton, an 80s action star, as a military officer caught in the supernatural events.

The show's creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, are back to direct several episodes of the final season.
They are joined by co-executive producer Shawn Levy, who has worked on projects like "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Free Guy." Linda Hamilton, famous for her role as Sarah Connor in the "Terminator" series, joins the main cast, which includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard (who recently appeared in "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire"), Winona Ryder ("Beetlejuice Beetlejuice"), and David Harbour (who is also in Marvel's "Thunderbolts").

"Stranger Things 5" will be released in three parts on Netflix.
Volume 1 will come out on November 26, 2025, with four episodes. Volume 2 will be released on Christmas Day with three episodes, and the final part, called The Finale, will drop on New Year's Eve. All parts will be available at 5 PM PT.
