After becoming the most popular movie on Netflix in late August, the musical fantasy movie stayed in the Top 10 for its 15th straight week during the week of September 22-28.
This makes it the longest-running title ever on the English-language films chart. Before that, "Red Notice" held the record with 14 appearances. What makes this even more impressive is that "KPop Demon Hunters" had 15 weeks in a row on the Top 10, while "Red Notice" had 12 weeks in a row and then came back later. Also, "KPop Demon Hunters" spent 8 weeks at No. 1 and 7 weeks at No. 2 on the chart. It has never dropped to No. 3 or lower, which means it might keep appearing on the Top 10 for a long time. In its 15th week, the movie had 19.3 million views, which is almost double the 10.3 million views of the second most popular title, "Ruth & Boaz."
On the English-language TV chart, "Wayward" was the top title with 8.2 million views in its first four days.
It was followed by "Black Rabbit" with 7 million views in its second week and "House of Guinness" with 5.2 million views in its first four days.
At No. 4 with 4.4 million views, "Wednesday" Season 2 had its eighth week on the chart and fourth week since Part 2 was released.
So far, the season has had 107 million views, putting it at No. 7 on Netflix's all-time list for English-language TV, based on the first 91 days of streaming. The season originally started on August 6, but Netflix reset the count with the release of Part 2 on September 3. This means the season still has until early December to keep climbing closer to "Wednesday" Season 1, which is the most popular English-language show on Netflix with 252.1 million views.
Here is the list of the Top 10 for the week of September 22-28, starting with English-language shows and movies followed by non-English language titles.
