One Piece’ Grabs Early Season 3 Renewal at Netflix

Netflix has greenlit a season three renewal for its live-action adaptation of One Piece, announcing the move ahead of the season two premiere, set for 2026. This comes sooner than the previous season two renewal, which took place just weeks after the series premiere in 2023.

Netflix also revealed that Ian Stokes will serve as a co-showrunner for season three, while Joe Tracz will share executive producer duties.
Stokes has written two episodes and was co-executive producer on season one. Matt Owens, who was a co-showrunner on season two, has left the series. On the other hand, Stokes will be an executive producer on season three.

Along with the season three renewal, Netflix unveiled a season two teaser featuring Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and the Straw Hat Pirates embarking on new adventures.
The teaser also showcases several new characters.

The second season is titled *Into the Grand Line*, with Netflix describing it as: *“Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn.
As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world's greatest treasure, they'll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.*

Returning cast members for season two include Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar.
New joiners include Izzy Isorelys Paulino, Jeff Ward, and Michael Dorman. The large cast for season two also includes Charithra Chandran, Joe Manganiello, Katey Sagal, Lera Abova, Mark Harelik, Sophia Anne Caruso, Yonda Thomas, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Brendan Sean Murray, Callum Kerr, Camrus Johnson, Clive Russell, Daniel Lasker, David Dastmalchian, Jazzara Jaslyn, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti, Ty Keogh, Werner Coetser, Rigo Sanchez, James Hiroyuki Liao, Mark Penwill, and Anton Jeftha. Mikaela Hoover will provide the voice and face capture for Tony Tony Chopper.

Season two will be executive produced by Owens, Tracz, Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Maeda.
Stokes will be an executive producer of season three.
