On Friday, the "Saltburn" actor in the upcoming movie spinoff was given a first look on social media by Netflix. He is driving a truck in the shot while wearing a cap, a leather jacket, and a new cut on his face.
Keoghan is portrayed in a negative light, but little else is known about him or the role he will play in the movie.
In the film, Keoghan appears alongside fellow Irishman Cillian Murphy, who reprises his role as Tommy Shelby. Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck are among the other series stars reprising their roles. Jay Lycurgo, whose role is also unknown, is another newcomer to the franchise alongside Keoghan.
Tom Harper, who previously directed several episodes of the show, will direct the movie. Peaky Blinders" first aired on BBC Two in 2013. In the end, Netflix got the rights to show the show in the United States. The show's sixth and final season aired in 2022. In June, it was announced that a feature film was in the works.
The "Peaky Blinders" movie was written by Knight, who also co-produced it with Murphy, Caryn Mandabach, and Guy Heeley. Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren, and David Mason are the executive producers.
The first look at Murphy back in character was shown in September, which marked the beginning of the film's production. The movie's plot is also kept a secret, but it's being called "an epic continuation of the multi-award-winning gangster saga, set in the lawless streets of Birmingham in the 1900s."
