Horror Sequel ‘In a Violent Nature 2’ Announced at SDCC

Maker Peter Kuplowsky reported today at San Diego Comic-Con that the non mainstream movie 'In a Fierce Nature' will get a spin-off, civility of IFC Movies and Shiver. The first film, which screened at film celebrations recently and will begin spilling on Shiver September 13, was imagined as a "meta continuation," Kuplowsky told the crowd at The Striking Voice of Contemporary Ghastliness board on Friday, July 26.

"In a Violent Nature" was, in the minds of the film's producers and director Chris Nash, one of three or four films about the slow-moving killer Johnny. Nonetheless, they didn't set out determined to make a spin-off. But something happened, and the team that made this original slow-motion horror film is now hard at work writing the script for the next one.

"It's not about crossing things off." When asked about what excites him about a forthcoming horror film, Kuplowsky told the audience, "It's about [finding] the boxes we didn't know were there." Yet again we anticipate seeing what emerges from those cases when Johnny gets back to unleash destruction on the screen.
