Michelle Yeoh to Play Immigrant Who Takes on Boston Crime Ring in Action-Thriller ‘The Mother’

 Michelle Yeoh, who won an Oscar, is returning to acting.

The lead role in "The Mother," the most recent film from French actor-director Melanie Laurent, is played by the star of "Everything Everywhere All At Once." The film depends on the screenplay by P.G. Cuschieri.

The film sees Yeoh playing a worker mother and finance manager attempting to make another life for her family in America. Be that as it may, when her two young children coincidentally find issue with a Boston wrongdoing ring, she's compelled to revive her past to save them.
