Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer are collaborating to kick some butt together on television. The two entertainers have endorsed on to star in an activity experience series in light of a unique thought by executive maker Tessa Coates ("Feel Quite a bit better," "Ladhood") for Amazon's Excellent Video.
Skydance TV is behind the show, alongside Andy and Barbara Muschietti's Twofold Dream shingle and Spencer's Orit Diversion (which has a first-look manage Skydance; this is the main task to emerge from that settlement). The untitled series will deliver eight episodes for Prime Video across the world. The project was the subject of a significant bidding war due to its star power; it is estimated that at least six streamers made offers, of which four ultimately purchased the show, before it was purchased by Amazon.
In the show, Waddingham plays Judith, who has subtly been functioning as an exceptionally prepared professional killer. That is a twofold life that Judith's dearest companion Debbie (played by Spencer) knows nothing about — until a hit turns out badly. Presently Judith and Debbie are on the run, meaning to remain one stride in front of a puzzling foe. Additionally, they must repair their now-broken friendship while attempting to determine the cause of the situation.

To have the option to plunge into a job like Debbie is uncommon, and working with Hannah to rejuvenate this extraordinary kinship is a fantasy," Spencer said in a proclamation. Coates will chief produce the series with Spencer, Brian Clisham and Stephanie Kluft for Orit Amusement; Waddingham; Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Irene Yeung for Twofold Dream; and Skydance Television's Matt Thunell, Dana Goldberg, and David Ellison. Blair Bigelow and Mark Mikutowicz worked on the Skydance project.

At Prime Video, Skydance also has the shows "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan," "Reacher," and the upcoming "Cross."
Unintentionally, Waddingham and Spencer were both as of late organization mates at Apple TV+, where Waddingham acquired honors and Emmys for "Ted Tether" and Spencer featured in (and executive created) the widely praised series "Honestly." Coates has the digital broadcast "No one Frenzy" and recently wrapped visiting her Edinburgh Periphery Celebration solo show, "Get Your Tessa Coates You've Pulled."
