Kate McKinnon Returns to ‘Saturday Night Live’ for Christmas Show

After an abbreviated 2022-23 season, Saturday Night Live returned without a doubt later than expected to start off its 2023-24 run.

The scholars strike impacted both the finish of last season and the beginning of season 49; the finish of the work activity on Sept. 25 implied a mid-October start for SNL — with previous castmember Pete Davidson facilitating — as opposed to the late September or early October debut the show normally has. Before that, Emma Stone has the Dec. 2 show for her fifth time, with melodic visitor Noah Kahan, and on Dec. 9, Adam Driver will have for his fourth time with melodic visitor Olivia Rodrigo.
