Fuqua as of late told Yippee! Diversion that he needed to prevent Washington from assuming control over "The Adjuster 3" stunts. " There are not many entertainers who are on that level. He's only one of the greats, he's a GOAT," Fuqua said of working with the Oscar champ.
Fuqua included an IndieWire interview that working with Washington on "Preparing Day" changed his entire vocation.
"Our beat is like music. I surmise the main way I could portray it, I would envision like two artists simply get the instruments and go and they begin riffing and it streams," Fuqua said. " That has been our relationship since 'Preparing Day.' Furthermore, he set that vibe [on the arrangement of 'Preparing Day'], I recall that he was finding a spot at the table with Ethan [Hawke], and I said, 'You need to come over and investigate [at the monitor]?' It was my most memorable scene with him, him and Ethan, I was terrified to death. Furthermore, Denzel was like, 'You're flying this plane, amigo. Call me when you really want me,' and moved up left, and I recently thought, 'I can't mess this up.' Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. In any case, that let me know he confided in me."
