Ray Stevenson, ‘Punisher: War Zone’ and ‘Rome’ Star, Dies at 58

Character actor Ray Stevenson is best known for his leading roles in "Punisher: War Zone" and "Rome" television series, has passed away at 58. While his passing has been affirmed by his marketing experts, the reason for death is right now undisclosed.

On May 25, 1964, George Raymond Stevenson was born in Lisburn, Ireland. His father was a pilot in the Royal Air Force, and he was the second of three sons. When he was 8 years old, he moved to England and ended up attending the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He was 29 when he got his degree. Since the early 1990s, Stevenson had appeared frequently in movies and on television.


His breakthrough role came in the 1998 film "The Theory of Flight," in which he played a gigolo who assisted Helena Bonham Carter in losing her virginity. He will next be seen this summer in the Disney+ series "Star Wars," "Ahsoka."

Stevenson had as of late joined to supplant Kevin Spacey in the Genghis Khan activity show "1242: Gateway to the West, in which he would have appeared as a Hungarian priest fighting the Mongol army.
