Hollywood, France Pay Tribute to ‘Moon Knight’ Star Gaspard Ulliel: ‘He Was Equally Brilliant and Talented’

 Hollywood and the French entertainment world are honoring French entertainer Gaspard Ulliel.


The entertainer, who stars in Marvel's impending "Moon Knight" series, kicked the bucket on Wednesday following a skiing mishap. He was 37.


Gaspard started acting while still at school. At 12 years old he showed up in French TV film "Une Femme En Blanc" ("A Woman dressed in White") in an uncredited job. In 2007 he took on his first significant English-talking job in "Hannibal Rising," playing Hannibal, and in 2014 played style planner Yves Saint Laurent in the widely praised film "Holy person Laurent."


He will make one of his last on-screen appearances in Marvel's forthcoming Disney Plus series "Moon Knight," in which Ulliel played Midnight Man inverse Oscar Isaac.
