Ed Westwick, Madalina Ghenea Team for Shark Survival Thriller ‘Deep Fear’

The Caribbean-set movie is being coordinated by Marcus Adams and includes an exciting blend of tempests, drug dealers and tiger sharks.

Place of Gucci breakout Madalina Ghenea is set to start to lead the pack in forthcoming shark endurance spine chiller Deep Fear, featuring close by Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick.

Set in the Caribbean, Deep Fear is portrayed as an "exceptional and instinctive endurance thrill ride with irate activity all through."

Coordinated by Marcus Adams (Long Time Dead, Octane, The Marksman) with the screenplay co-composed by Robert Capelli Jr. (The Rules (for Men), Mail Order Bride) and Sophia Eptamentis (Invincible Summer, What Exit?), Deep Fear is created Brilliant Pictures' Sean O'Kelly (Marin Call, Iron Sky) and Marc Bikindou (Black Dahlia, Deception) along with Halo Pictures' Engelbert Grech (The Raft, Heroes in the Sky) and Chris Bongirne (100 Feet, W.E., The Virtuoso).

Ghenea will play Naomi, a cultivated round-the-world yachtswoman who sets out on a performance excursion to meet her sweetheart Jackson (Westwick) in Grenada. However, her peaceful three-day sail on board 47-foot yacht The Serenity takes a startlingly dim turn when a tempest drives her off the plotted course.

Circumnavigating a uninhabited reef-bordered island, she reacts to a misery sign to help a sinking vessel where she observes three survivors sticking to the broke remaining parts of a boat. Occasions before long take a noxious wind when it unfolds the survivors are drug dealers who power Naomi to jump down into the structure of the depressed wreck to recover 850 kilos of cocaine. The arrangement is impeded when Naomi ends up encompassed by a craze of man-eating tiger sharks – baited by the dead bodies in the disaster area.

"This content presents the chance to make a genuinely unique setting for the class," said Adams. "The malicious narcos characters compare intensely with Naomi and Jackson, a sincere and respectable couple who are setting out to experience their fantasy about maintaining a yacht sanctioning business in the West Indies. Basically standard people push into an uncommon circumstance, Naomi and Jackson are compelled to do battle with both the narcos and one of nature's most marvelous pinnacle hunters, making a three-way fight that inspires strain and dread every step of the way."

Ghenea added: "I cherished this person from the second I read the content. Naomi is a wildly certain, lively and profoundly cultivated young lady – it's an honor to play such an enabling female lead job. I've had loads of fun finishing a month of serious plunging preparing in anticipation of the job and am really eager to begin shooting close by such a skilled group."

London-and Rome-based Brilliant Pictures is dealing with overall deals freedoms for Deep Fear.
