‘Sing 2’ to World Premiere at AFI Fest

 Enlightenment's "Sing 2," the energized movie composed and coordinated by Garth Jennings, will world debut at AFI Fest on Nov. 14 at the TCL Chinese Theater. 


The film, a continuation of 2016's "Sing," follows a koala named Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) as he and his cast of performing creatures plan for their greatest show yet in Redshore City, and should persuade a withdrawn rockstar (Bono) to go along with them. The film will include in excess of 40 fronts of exemplary and contemporary hit melodies. 


Returning stars, alongside McConaughey, incorporate Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll and Jennings. They are joined by new cast individuals Pharrell Williams, Halsey, Bobby Cannavale, Letitia Wright, Eric André and Chelsea Peretti. 


"Sing 2" is created by Illumination author and CEO Chris Meledandri, alongside Janet Healy. After the AFI Fest debut, the pic will hit theaters on Dec. 22. 


AFI Fest happens from Nov. 10 to Nov. 14 in Los Angeles. The celebration opens with the world debut of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "Tick, Tick … Boom!" and closes with Reinaldo Marcus Green's "The best Richard." Additional honorary pathway occasions incorporate Benjamin Cleary's component first time at the helm, "Final appearance"; "Equal Mothers" coordinated by Pedro Almodóvar; and "The Power of the Dog" coordinated by Jane Campion.
