David Letterman to Interview Adam Sandler on ‘My Next Guest

David Letterman’s next guest on his Netflix interview show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” is Adam Sandler.

 The special episode will be on Netflix on December 1.

The two will talk about Sandler’s journey from a stand-up comedian to a mainstay on “Saturday Night Live” to a worldwide movie star.

 Earlier this year, Sandler starred in the record-breaking streaming sequel “Happy Gilmore 2,” and he appears with George Clooney and Laura Dern in Noah Baumbach’s upcoming drama “Jay Kelly,” which is coming to Netflix on December 5.

Letterman has known Sandler for many years, as the latter appeared on the former’s late-night talk show multiple times.

My Next Guest” has had 27 episodes over five seasons and three specials.

 On the show, Letterman has interviewed Barack Obama, Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jay-Z, Robert Downey Jr., Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Dave Chappelle, Miley Cyrus, Caitlin Clark and Billie Eilish.

Letterman filmed the special with Sandler on September 29 at New York University.

 The interview was done in front of a live audience of students, and Sandler was kept a surprise before the taping started.
