Because of these factors, Lewis no longer does stand-up comedy and now concentrates solely on "writing and acting."

"Hello tune in, I just wrapped a long time back season 12 of 'Check Your Energy' and it was only an astounding season and I'm so thankful to be a piece of that show," Lewis said. " But I've had a rough three and a half years, and people have asked, "I haven't heard from you, are you still touring?"

I was in the middle of a tour three and a half years ago, and I finally finished it off with a show. I said, 'You know I'm in my prime, following 15 years nearly I will throw in the towel,' and I had an extraordinary outlook on that and afterward out of nowhere the serious trouble hit everyone out of nowhere. I had four medical procedures consecutive to one after the other, it was extraordinary, I could barely handle it, it was misfortune, however such is reality."

He concluded, "I just wanted to let you know that's where it has been." I have finished stand-up. I only care about writing and acting. Although I am under the care of a doctor and have Parkinson's disease, everything is fine. I cherish all of my friends and admirers, as well as my wife and puppy dog. Additionally, you are aware of its current position after three and a half years. I pray for you.

Lewis claimed that he was first told he had Parkinson's disease after he "went to a neurologist and they gave me a brain scan" due to the shifting movements in his feet. "That was about two years ago," he continued. But fortunately, I got it late in life, and they say you progress slowly, if at all; I'm on the right medications, so I'm fine.

Lewis portrays a fictionalized version of himself on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which is expected to debut its twelfth season before the end of the year. The jokester is additionally known for featuring in the sitcom "Everything except Adoration" and the film "Robin Hood: Men in Shorts" Regardless of ongoing reports that "Control" would end after its twelfth season, the series is supposed to go on as long as maker Larry David needs to continue onward.
